Welcome to Modewarre Football Netball Club
Modewarre Football Netball Club is a vibrant sports club located just 10 minutes outside of Geelong. As part of the Bellarine Football Netball League, we offer opportunities for both football and netball players and supporters to come together and enjoy a thriving country club atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the sports, our club welcomes all to be a part of our community.
Our History
Starting in 1879 Modewarre Football Netball Club has a wonderful history of creating a close community and positive culture. Our club philosophy is about more than just winning. It is about each and every player developing their skills and enjoyment of the games they play. We continue to grow our community of past players and welcome our new recruits.

Volunteering At Modewarre
The Modewarre Football Netball Club is a community club that relies on volunteers to keep our seasons running smoothly, and as our participation numbers grow, so does the workload.
As part of new Strategic Plan, the Board is committed to growing our volunteer base to ease pressure on current volunteers and support their ongoing involvement.
We’re seeking expressions of interest from participants, parents, members, spectators, past players and the local community to help with a range of identified roles in the upcoming 2026 season including:
· Timekeeper for Seniors and Reserves football
· Reserves Umpire (paid position)
· Line marking of football grounds (training will be provided)
· Shifts on the Bar on training nights, game days and after-hours events (RSA training will be provided).
· Merchandise Coordinator or assisting by being part of the Merchandise Crew.
· Dinner Coordinators for Wednesday and Thursday night dinners; and
· Gatekeeper for senior home games.
